Table of Contents

I'm having a problem updating the Table of Contents after
adding new headings to a document.

I've added a new heading to my document, and formatted the
heading with a built-in heading style. The table of
contents should add the new heading when I do Update Field
in the TOC. The new heading will not appeat in the TOC.

I've checked that the heading has the same format as my
others, and made sure the paragraph formatting was the
same.

Any suggestions?

When you update a TOC field you are asked if you want to update the table or
just the page numbers (default). You have to update the entire table.

still it won't update.
