Table of Contents

How do I mark text so that part of the same line is used as the Table of
Contents (TOC) entry and the remaining part is used as text in the body of
the document? In example below, I only want the Title of each section
displayed in the TOC, and not the body of text, but I do not want the body of
text to start on another line. How do I separate the formating when there is
not hard return between the blocks of text?

1.1 Setting up TOC. First determine the number of level you will use in
doc . . . . .

1.2 Title here. Body of text here.

1.3 Title here. Body of text here.
