Table of Contents (2)

Hello to all of you,

Sorry this might be a repeat, but my post did not get on the news after 12
hours, so I re-try.

I built a new site with FRONTPAGE, using the "Company presence" wizard. It
includes a "Table of contents" page, but this page is never updated. It contains
a list of 3 pages as follows :
* Title of a Page
* Title of a Page
* Title of a page

I can neither expand nor modify (edit) the list. When I clic on any entry of the
list when the "site" is opened locally with Internet Explorer, it invariably
sends me to the homepage ("index.htm").

I tried to replace the TOC page by deleting the existing and inserting a new TOC
(Insert -> Web Component...) : same behaviour.

To avoid circular reference I set the "Heading Size" to "None", as advised by
the Help Topic on TOC.

The TOC is based on "Navigation" (as opposed to "Categories"). All pages are
included in the Navigation.

The "Update automatically" checkbox is checked.

How can I have the TOC show the real pages title and be updated automatically.

I an running on Windows 2000 SP4 + FRONTPAGE 2002 SP3

Thank you for your help.

You must view the TOC page in a browser.

You are right !

What I do not understand, though, is that, before I posted this question, I
tried to look at the TOC with the browser (IE) locally (on my hard disk) and it
did not work.

I tried it now (local HD !) and it worked ! Could the difference be due to the
fact that I meanwhile "published" the site to my hard disk ?

I uploaded it to the remote hosting server, and it works fine there too.

Thank you for your help.
