tabbed browsing is an amazing feature - how come explorer doesn't have something like it?

I may be doing something incorrectly, but can anyone tell me if explorer has
something equivalent to netscape's tabbed browsing feature?

With tabbed browsing, I simply click my middle mouse button and the
hyperlink inside the webpage begins loading in a new "tab" within the same
browser window interface. While I finish reading the first page, the next
page has already loaded in the background, and I can then simply click with
the mouse on the new tab without having to go through the trouble of a brand
new window everytime I click on a hyperlink - -

I can't imagine explorer not having a similar feature -- Tabbed browsing has
totally revolutionized my web experience - - I know I must doing something
wrong when using explorer - - Can anyone tell me if there is something like
this in explorer that I may be missing?

Thank you
Daniel

Right-click a link in Internet Explorer and "open in a new window". Then
use the taskbar as your tab view or simply use Alt-Tab to switch from
one to the other window. I don't know why you are getting so excited
about a separate windowbar for browsing, but if that's what you want for
IE, you'll have to wait.
