Tab button

I can't get my tab button to work properly - it does not make that indent to
the text that it usually does.
I have marked in the "auto correction" settings where it say to use Tab for
left indent to the first line as well as text passages.

What can I do ?

Are you saying that the "Set left and first indent with tabs and backspaces"
option is selected on the AutoFormat As You Type tab of the AutoCorrect
dialog box, and it still isn't working? Make sure that the insertion point
is at the beginning of the paragraph when pressing Tab (or Shift+Tab).

On the other hand, if you are trying to create a hanging indent, you should
be using Ctrl+T (or the Paragraph dialog box).

Another thing to consider: If you are using Tab with an outline-numbered
list, make sure it has been correctly setup; see
