sytem logs user off unexpectedly

Windows XP w/all critical updates. This system ramdomly
logs off the user. Programs will begin to shut down and
then system logs off.

Any ideas? thanks!

Be sure your antivirus software is up to date and run a virus scan of your
system. NOTE, simply using your AV software as a gateway is not good
enough, sometimes viruses hit before an update has been installed so system
scans should be done frequently.

logs you off?
