Systray question

Hello,

PC running XP HE SP1.

On the systray, you know the little arrow pointing outwards that can be
clicked on to reveal more icons? The arrow on a friend's computer has
disappeared; we've tried 'customise' via properties, but to no avail,
is thgere any way of getting the facility back?

Right click your Start Button and click Properties
Click The Taskbar Tab
Make sure the "Hide when inactive" is checked,
