SysTray Icons (some) have disappeared

Hello,

All of a sudden several of my System Tray icons have disappeared. I have
them checked to "Always Show". There are a total of 5 icons I want showing
but only 2 currently show (Norton AV & Energizer UPS) The icons for: Volume
Control, Hotsync and Norton Firewall do not display. I have checked their
settings and it shows they are marked to Always Show.

They were working fine and then suddenly the volume control and Firewall
icons disappeared and then 2 days later, the Hotsync icon similarly
disappeared. No apparent connection to timing with the installation of any
software or change of settings that I am aware of.

I'm using Windows XP Home (SP2) on a DELL Dimension XPS-R400, 384 MB Ram.
Clean install on freshly formatted HD with SP2 immediately applied via CD
prior to any further modifications or program installs. All appropriate
updates installed. Very stable, no crashes or errors after 2 weeks of usage.

The same thing has happened to me, somtimes icons show, other times they
don't, not sure why this is or what the fix is. Does anyone know?
