systray icon

Some time it's blue, some time it's red.
Anyone know what that indicates?
 
This is a bug--it isn't intended to signify anything.

It appears to be related to Terminal Services functionality, which includes:

Remote Desktop
Remote Assistance, and
Fast User Switching.
 
Bryan, did you ever find the answer to this? I have been
searching all over the web to no avail. The app is
functioning properly but it's driving me crazy not knowing
what the blue/red systray icons represent.

It turns blue when a feature involving Terminal Services has been invoked on
the machine. This could be Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, or Fast User
Switching. See the FAQ.
 
My systray icon was blue when I came in today. At lunch
I rebooted and it is red again. What is up with that?
