Start: Run > eventvwr.exe
Right click the corrupt section and delete all events. If this doesn't
help: "How to Delete Corrupt Event Viewer Log Files"

Tanks, great fix, but involved, it worked. All the reg hack that I googled from MS did is kill the
whole Event viewer. Thanks again for the quick response.

Hi KG,

I hope you don't mind the criticism--just trying to be helpful. I see you
have your problem fixed, but your e-mail munge could be better. By putting
the "AT" before the "@" symbol, your e-mail provider msbx.net is going to
get a bunch of e-mails looking for kGbAT, which there is no such person--but
your server is still getting them and bouncing them back.

Try instead (e-mail address removed). That way your e-mail domain will not receive
them at all, and it still confuses the e-mail harvest bots.
