system64.exe creates 100% CPU usage

For some reason, my computer is being stopped up by
system64.exe to nearly 100% of my CPU usage. I've
downloaded service pack 4.0 and still have the same
problem. Does anyone know why this is happening and what
I can do about it?

Response: This is probably a virus. You should delete it

although, I would let an antivirus program run a scan of
your computer to be safe. I use Norton Antivirus.
