Over the weekend I installed Windows 2000
software upgrades which were listed when scanned for
updates.

I installed these updates and restarted my server
which is an IBM Netfinity Server.

System would not boot up now.Icon stays on forever
without loading the programs and files.

It does boot up and load files in the safe mode.

How can I correct the problem. Please advise.

- How far does the boot process go?
- Do you get a chance to log on?
- Is the logon accepted?
- Is your mouse operative?
- Can you click the Start button?

.Brad: Hit F8 key when booting and choose Last Known Good
Configuration. This will restore your system to its state
the last time you booted into it successfully. If that
doesn't work, uninstall the updates and install SP4, then
the updates, then SP$ again.
