I had recently recieved my new computer back from HP after when my faulty
hard drive had crashed on me. They set everything back up for me, but the
username embedded in my system is now TEST. This little thing bugs me for
some odd reason, and I had tried everything to get rid of that name. Any
suggestions?(And yes, I had tried using control panel, but if you look under
system information, the name is still TEST even though the name did change).
Thank you.

I am going to assume you are referring to the System/Computer Name. You can change the System/Computer name in the System Properties.

Control Panel (Classic View) > System Properties > Computer Name tab > Click the Change button and enter the desired name.

----

If you are referring to Registered to information in the System Properties under the General Tab then you can edit this information in the registry. Navigate to the following registration key.

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]
Locate "RegisteredOrganization" and "RegisteredOwner" and change the values to what you require.
