I choosed to start up my system skipping welcome screen
and going directly to desktop, no prompts or passwords
asked. Now however, when I press ctrl-alt-del keys, task
manager is not instantly displayed as usual, instead an
annoying dialog box appears that prompts me to select
between 6 options (one of them is to open task manager).
I don't like this dialog box. Thanks

Bobby

Try this:

In Control Panel double-click User Accounts. In the Advanced tab at the
bottom you have to deselect the check box that states Require users to press
Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Good luck and let me know how it goes!

In Control Panel - User Accounts use Change Way users logon and put it
back on Use Welcome screen. If you used the control userpasswords2 to
uncheck Users must give a username and hence autologon, Welcome will
not actually appear - but other things will stop behaving like Win2000

Thanks Mitch but I think you misunderstood my problem,
please see my reply to Alex Nichol. Thanks

Thanks Alex, it worked, Welcome Screen is not displayed
anymore but now instead a 'Loading Personal
Configuration' screen appear. Funny. So I'll prefer to
keep Welcome scr. Thanks.
