explorer dosent start on system boot...

idk what you actually call it but basically my start bar and my desktop dont
load, i can access everything by hitting ctrl + alt + del and run programs
from the task manager but it is REALLY annoying to not have my start bar or
anything.

Sounds like Explorer is hosed. If you can, try doing a system restore, or
at last resort, do a repair install
