System Restore

When I click on the my computer properties, there isn't system restore tab,
using is xp sp2 .

can someone help

What are your anti-virus and anti-spyware arrangements?

System Restore can be targetted by malware. Does Task Manager work?
Select Ctrl+Alt+Del. Can you access Event Viewer? Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.
