system restore

okay i need help. i am trying to dl windows media player 11. we had vista
in our computer but we had it switched to xp. some how we dont have the wmp.
well it is telling us that we need to turn the system restore on but i am
not able to find that in the computer. i looked in the start menu and also
went to my computer properties and its not there. can anyone help me out and
tell me how do i get the system restore back.

Download Windows Media Player 11 here:

You don't need to have System Restore turned on to install Windows Media
Player. However, it's a good idea to create a restore point before you
install, so just in case the installation doesn't go well you can return
your system to essentially the way it was before you installed Windows
Media Player.

To find System Restore in Windows XP:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
