system restore

System restore from any restore point I select appears to operate properly.
I shows a status bar, then shuts down and reboots only to display that no
changes have been made. I have more than enough disk space. Any sugestions?

No fix, your restore points are corrupt. Have to turn off and back on, of
course this will leave you with no restore points.
