System Restore

Hope I'm posting to the proper newsgroup. Just learning how to use the newsgroups after many years and having a time of it.

I use a small internet connection timer called No Frill Timer (NFT). When I must use System Restore to revert to an earlier date/time, the current connection time displayed by No Frill Timer (NFT) also reverts. There is no option in No Frill Timer (NFT) to prevent this. Is there a way to make System Restore leave No Frill Timer (NFT) alone?

I assume there is an entry in the Windows Registry that can be edited to effect this but I can't seem to locate it, or I just don't recognize it. I am no stranger to safely editing the Windows Registry, but this one has really got me by the synapses.

Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great day.

Hi Charlie,

I am not familiar with NFT, but would suggest checking for a NFT process in Task
Manager and end it before running System Restore.
