system restore

Hello

I use xpsp2 home.

The system restore does not seem to be working. I go back a day and select
system checkpoint and click next.

It does all it has to do and after booting comes up with themessage
something like this "system restore cannot be done because there have been
no chnages to your computer". I go 2 days back and same message so I go
back 5 days and still the same message. Any fixes please. Thank you.

hello> you need togo back to the first date that has a darken date ,
sometimes as far back as 2 weeks, go to that date and restore
