system restore

I attempted to use System Restore and got this:

rstrui.exe - Entry Point Not Found
---------------------------
The procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll.

What is this and how do I fix it?
I did a re-install from my commercial back up disk and was
unsuccessful.

Hi Ben, perhaps this will help you with your problem

Entry Point Not Found:
The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be
located in the Dynamic Link Library winsta.dll
Do a search for the sr.inf file which is normally located in C:\windows. Make
sure you search hidden files in your search criteria.
Right-click on the sr.inf file and select the install option.
