system restore

When I click on system restore in the programs file I get
an error message rstrui.exe-entry point not found
and the window states "The procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll."

ANY HELP SOLVING THIS PROBLEM APPRECIATED DEEPLY!!!!!!

Entry Point Not Found:
The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be
located in the Dynamic Link Library winsta.dll
Do a search for the sr.inf file which is normally located in C:\windows. Make
sure you search hidden files in your search criteria.
Right-click on the sr.inf file and select the install option.
