System Restore

I cannot get my System Restore to function correctly. I
click on a Highlighted date that is a previous System
Check Point, the computer accepts that, shuts down,
reboots, and then the System Restore Screen tells me it
could not Restore to that date. No changes have been made
to my computer. I have tried to undo prvious Restores, and
repeatedly picked new dates from as recent as yesterday or
as far back at Septmeber for System Check Points, and I am
always prompted with the same message. Help?

System restore is corrupted turn it off, then reboot and
turn it back on and create a new restore point.

Wish I could help you. I'm having the exact same problem. I hope someon
out there knows why and how to correct it. If I learn of a solution
I'll let you know. I hope you will do the same for me. Good luck
