WinXP default setting is to have System Restore turned
on. Therefore, you should be able to, unless you deleted
restore points during system cleanup or in System Restore
itself.
Start - Programs _ Accessories - System Tools - System
Restore - Restore My Computer to an Earlier Time. See
what your earliest restore point is. Good luck!
