Why do I get this message when I try to run System
Restore? "System Restore is not able to protect your
computer. Please restart your computer, and then run
System Restore again." Restarting doesn't do anything.
Message continues to appear. Thanks!!

you need to run system restore from your windows XP cd.
this can be done by inserting the windows xp cd that came
with ur computer and setting your BIOS to boot from CD,
and then selecting "repair my windows XP" if that doesnt
fix system restore, ull probably have to format and
reinstall XP. if thats too much to do, id email msoft...
