System Restore will not start

Changed boot drive from 40G to 120G.
Transferred 'everything' using Drive image 2000. Every is
perfect except system restore. When started get the
message System Restore Application has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience. Error message
AppName: rstrui.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.1106 ModName:
srrstr.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1142 Offset: 000095fa

The system restore tab on 'my computer' properties gives
the message "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." AppName: rundll32.exe AppVer:
5.1.2600.0 ModName: srrstr.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1142 Offset: 00009765

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
