System Restore question

Does System Restore create restore points while the computer is turned
off? I'm using XP Home SP1.
 
No. Nothing works when you turn your computer off. Except for the CMOS clock.
 
No it doesn't,it would be nice.
You have to go and cteate a restore point,else system
restore doesn[t help you at all
