System Restore Calender

I have appear to have lost the calender for system restore in both normal &
safe mode.

In Safe Mode I can get the calender using run & entering
"%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe". Test Points created in normal
mode without the calender are there.

I have tried to resolve the matter using the information given in Article
ID: 313853 however I get an error message when I try to open the first item
..htc.

How can I resolve this please.

if your check points were not deleted
by a registry cleaning tool, then the
calendar can be rebuilt. Some registry
and pc cleaning tools will delete them
as part of there maintenance. but some
tools provides options of what you want
to skip over and left alone by the tools.
