No sys restore

Downloaded an update for Norton AV. Had big problem installing and then found
my PC date was july 2008 and not Jan. When tried system restore I found there
were no restore points in January and I couldnt get any other calender months
up.

check your cmos/bios
time and make sure it
is accurate.

then simply ensure
you make a restore point
for today (now).

there is nothing you can
do but to count your
blessings.

if you find that you need
to initiate a restore point
at this time, then do a
repair installation with
your windows cd.

it will replace and repair
system files and create a brand
new restore point to fall back
on.

there is also one more thing
that may be of help. if we
assume that your disk have
backdated restore points
archived/filed, then maybe
the restore calendar can be
updated. it wouldn't hurt
to try:
