System Restore Calendar Doesn't work

My computer has been running very slow. I've deleted all the temp int files,
ran spybot and adaware and it hasn't helped. When I try to do a system
restore, I try to click on the bold dates but it won't work. The calendar
seems frozen. I rebooted and tried several times and cannot get it to change
dates. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Yes, I did a complete file virus scan. Nothing found. But I suspect there
is something else slowing down my computer.
I noticed quite a few suspicious .exe files running in my task manager, but
I wasn't sure so I did not delete them.
Maybe I will try the system restore from the command line.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ed

Hi,

You didn't mention if an antivirus program was run! That would be your
next step. If you are in need of antivirus software look here.
