System Resources

I have a problem with my System Resources being depleted.
I have to reboot often to restore the resources. I have
very few programs starting at startup. Do some programs
not restore resources after they are closed? I run
Windows ME and have 512 ram. Please help.
 
Get rid of ME, it's terrbile you're better off with WIN2k, other than that
run a spyware, you will notice a performance difference.
