I can no longer use System Recovery on my computer. It doesn't work. I can
create my own "recovery-points", but I can't use them, not even the
"recovery-points" created by the system. It just doesn't work anymore. Does
anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

I have Windows XP SP2 but this problem occured previous to SP2 installation.

Thanks

service manager says that "recovery service" is set to automatic startup mode.
It also says that it is dependent of: Remote Procedure Call (RPC).

The command line looks like this: C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

2. Yes that's correct. I can create a restore point but not use it. I can't
use any restore points.
