Can I move my entire Outlook to a removable hard drive and then move it back
to my laptop after a system rebuild? I don't want to lose any of the info
(emails, settings etc).

Yes, and no. You can copy your pst file (with outlook closed). That contains
your email, contacts, calendar and tasks. the settings and account
information depends on your version, which you omitted to tell us....

Sorry. Outlook 2003.

I went to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook and found - archive.pst, extend.dat, Outlook1.pst,
and Outlook.pst.

Do I copy all of these. Also I found 2 folders with ".pst" files in them,
one called Outlook archive and the other called Outlook backup. Should I copy
these too or will they be redundant.

Thanks for all of the help.
