System reboots continually after attempting to install Win XP Pro

Ok, I had been running the original version of Windows XP Pro without any
issues.

My school is involved with the MSDN Academic Alliance and one of the pieces
of software available was Win XP Pro with SP1. I couldn't upgrade through
windows update cause I guess the cd key my school had given us for the
original version got leaked so it was disabled. I figured I could upgrade by
downloading the .iso from the acadmeic alliance.

So I burned it to a CD, recorded the serial number given to me from the AA,
and set out to install XP with SP1. Well, it seems to have gone through ok,
I didn't notice any errors as the installation process went on. But after it
finished, my system just continously restarts itself when it begins loading
Windows. I can get to the prompt where it asks what mode I want to boot in
(safe, normal, etc.. ) but no matter which option I choose the system reboots
again.

One thing I noticed, actually, while installing is that a program called
Diskkeeper might need to be reinstalled. That program did have a running
service so I disabled it through the recovery console to see if that would
fix it. Still no good...

I'm out of ideas at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks
