System Performance Problem

I am having an issue where my system process is always
registering 97 or above CPU percent utilization. Does
anyone know what may be causing this problem? It just
seemed to have started not too long ago. Thanks in

Yes the actual process in the task manager that has the

high cpu usage is named 'system'.
