I am running WinXP Home Edition on one of my computers at
home. Yesterday I came home and it was rebooting itself.
It starts to boot up but when the WinXP screen comes on,
it reboots, and then reboots again and again. I can't
even boot in Safe Mode. I assume it is a virus, even
though it is running Norton and doing auto updates with
Microsoft and Symantec. Is there a boot off a CD and run
some kind of repair? Or if I have to Reinstall Windows, I
don't want to lose all my settings for my installed
programs. Any help?
