System keeps Rebooting after converting FAT32 to NTFS

After running the convert tool my system just keeps rebooting. Even in safe mode. from the comand prompt I told windows XP to convert the filing system on the next reboot. I then rebooted. After the conversion was done my system keeps rebooting right after the windows copyright logo appears.
