System Idle Process

Within the last 2 weeks, my XP Pro has slowed and my
System Idle Process (looking at it in Task Manager) is
90+. Any ideas???
 
Yes.

Look up idle in a dictionary. What does it say?

System Idle Process is not the problem.

Have you emptied temporary internet folders, run disk clean up, checked for spyware, run defrag?

Your processor is only 10% used. What's the problem? Idle means just that.
Something else is slowing the machine down.
