system icons on desktop no saved

helo, can someone please explain me what to do to make
windows save the icons/name i set for "my computer,
internet explorer and my documents"?

Hello Andrey,

One way might be via TweakUI (for XP). If this is not
installed on your system, then download it from http://
www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Note: V2.10.0.0 needs Windows XP SP 1

If you do not have SP1, the earlier version of TweakUI
can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/W
XP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe


In TweakUI, navigate to
| Repair | Repair Icons | [Repair Now]
