System generatng multiply copies of emails

I am having a problem when I send out emails with or without attachments. The
system is generating multiple copies of the email for each destination bit
the receivers cannot see any attacments.

Disable your AV outbound email scanning. Depending on your AV, you might
have to uninstall it and re-install minus the mail scanning function...
See if that helps.
