"System File is not Suitable for running MS DOS"

That's the error message.
WindowXP cure is a copy/paste to Autoexec, System as well as copying the
expanded Command.Com.

The autoexec and System lines were corrupted...and an easy fix. However,
attempting to locate the Command.Com file...it's no longer available to be
found or corrected.

Any thoughts?

Command.com has to be expanded from the WinXP CD.

One of these HP products loaded with XP....and no CD. Looks like it's Beg &
Borrow time.<G

You might be able to get it from your i386 folder.
