System Error Message:Duplicate Name

Just bought a Toshiba: Set up the wireless PC card; amnd
other setup requirements: now when I boot up it
states "System Error:A Duplicate Name found on the
network". I cannot find a duplicate; what do I do??

George, try changing your computers' name and see if it
helps. Right click on the My Computer icon - select
Properties & Computer name. There you will see the option
to change it.
