When I open my documents, control panel, or any other folder, On the left
side it shows a folder. I want it to show the details not a folder. I ve
tried everything to get it off but it comes back. If you open your network
connection and click on network connection it will show you your information.
I first have to close a folder to be able to see the information. Please Help
me out, thank you

OK i'll explain more about this, When you open up your music files under my
music, on the left side it has where you can play all, copy to cd, etc...,
well instead of this its a folder, how can i get it back to the original
settings?

Brent,

Click the "Folder" button in the toolbar (at the top). This toggles the display of Folder Pane in the left. If "Common Tasks" is enabled, it will be displayed then.
