Pc keeps shutting down randomly but it does not go the the normal shut down
procedure, instead it just crashes like someone switches off the power or
something.

sometimes aftter 10 min of booting sometimes 2 hrs later

I get the Error report dialog the next time i reboot after the crash

BCCode : 10000050 BCP1 : E16A1000 BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : 804FAFF5
BCP4 : 00000001 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Data report etc....

C:\DOCUME~1\Mn\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2386.dir00\Mini020407-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Mn\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2386.dir00\sysdata.xml

What could be the problem and whats the solution??

Sounds as though the processor may be overheating. Check the processor fan.
If it's going slowly, making a noise or not going at all change the fan. If
the processor is already well cooked you'll need to replace the processor as
well.

Your error is called PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

In your case it is originating with whatever device driver or
component that is using memory address 804FAFF5

There are ways of tracing this item but it is a bit convoluted. Try
the memory tests first - defective RAM is a prime suspect for this
error code. If your system passes the memory tests with no errors
then post a response back here and I will give you the instructions
for tracing the origin.

Good luck
