System crashes suddenly

It's about a month that my pc (athlon xp 2800+, asus a7v8x-mx-se, 1gb ram, 80
gb harddisk, radeon 7000 videocard) suddenly crashes, I can't move mouse,
press any keys...etc...I have to reset and boot it again, then, I can use the
machine for 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, 12 hours and then the crash occurs
again, it doens't depend on a specific situation. Moreover, I formatted and
reinstall everything just yesterday, and just now the system has crashed
again. It doesn't depend on ram, because I bought new 1gb block just 2 days
ago. Any suggestion? if it can be helpful, when I put the new ram block into
the machine, I desconnected the input cable, then, when I connected it again,
the time was the same of when I desconnected the cable, that is, it seems
that the motherboard battery is down. Is it possible that a low battery can
cause sudden crashes to the system? besides, I'm using an UPS, I think it's
working well, question, is it possible that an UPS not working properly can
cause system crash? or the sudden crash depend on a hardware failure, like
any problem to the motherboard or cpu? how can I find out? Thank you

Next time write down the Stop number from the blue screen and any other
information that might be helpful to us. Post back and look at
http://aumha.org/kbestop.htm while waiting for an answer.
