System Crashed when I did a Restore

I did a restore and the system crashed. When I started up my system all that
was there was the wallpaper. I hit ctrl,Alt,Del and the task manager would
not come up. I ran a virus program and was able to get back the task manager
when I hiy Ctrl/Alt/Del. But I still have no program icons and no start bar.
What can I do, I know a little about computers but not a lot, so please when
replay use terms geared for a novice. Thanks

You need to remove the virus(es) from your computer. Try these:

You could try using a earlier restore point.
