system crash

"the remote procedure call (rpc) service terminated
unexpectedly"

-when logged on to internet, after about 10 minutes the
windows xp sends message "the remote procedure call (rpc)
terminated unexpectedly' and restarts the computer.

-There is no info on problem for windows xp

-on internet for ten minutes before this crash happens so
cannot download any updates etc before system crashes.

help!
