NT Authority\System shutdown

Does anyone know what this Shutdown message means? This
happens after I log into XP:

Message
Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call
(RPC) service terminated unexpectedly.

scanned clean... have the latest updates as of this
afternoon...

I setup the firewall in Windows and now everything seems
to be OK

First, IMMEDIATELY disconnect from the internet before a "friend"
leaves a gift on your computer for you.
DO NOT reconnect until this issue is resolved.
