system shut down

My computer system continues to shutdown with the
following message:
This system is shutting down NT authority/system...remote
procedure cfall (RPC) service... please save all work in
progress....terminated unexpectantly....
what to do?

Could be a virus/worm/?? make sure all Windows
updates/patches are applied OR if you are on a network a
push is being made to clients for system updates
