I have a friend who needs to know what to use to edit what
applications are running in the background. The operating
systems I've used let you run msconfig but with Windows
2000 that he is using, that command doesn't take you
there. What would he use to go in and turn things off
that are running ? Thanking you in advance.

Win98 and WinXp have MSCONFIG, but Win2k does not... be VERY
CAREFUL what you disable, or your computer may not run at all
This program does that http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
